  • Notes
    • There is no entry in the Launcells Parish register for Thomas' baptism. His birth date has come from family records.

Thomas is mentioned in his father's will of 1822:
To give unto his son Thomas Ham the sum of fifteen pounds to be paid as follows: five pounds in twelve months, five pounds in two years, andfivepounds at the end of three years all after my decease.

Thomas had a harness shop in Wadebridge.

There is a tombstone in the cemetery at St Breock:
This stone is created to perpetuate the memory of Thomas Ham of Wadebridge in this parish who departed this life on the 6th day of June 1852 aged70years, also in memory of Sarah, wife of the above who departed this life September 9th 1856 aged 71.

Note: the above is Leon Ham's transcription. The parish register definitely has his burial date as 8th August 1852 and his death date as 6th.
Steve Hatton, the St Breock OPR, has checked the MIs (2003) and there is no gravestone existing now.
