  • Notes
    • Born Agnes Stuart (Illegitimate) on 6th September, 1874 at Rivefold Farm next to Ythan Wells near Forgue. Forgue is north west of Aberdeen. This farm was farmed by Agnes' Great Grandfather Peter Wight - a tenant farmer then by her grandfather John Wight and Grandmother Janet Wight. They farmed it from at least 1851 when it was called Rivefold Bog of Fouton - it was said to be 60 acres on the 1851 Census but by the 1871 Census it was 75 acres and on the 1881 Census 83 acres. When they died their eldest son John Wight farmed it along with his brother Peter Wight also lived and worked on the farm.
