  BIRTH DATE The birth date for James would appear to be probably unlikely given his mother, Mary would have 47 years old when giving birth. [1] GRAVESTONE A gravestone 'SEATON' has been located/identified and which has a lengthy inscription (refer Family Search copy/extract under 'Media'). The gravestone makes reference to James and his age of 19 months when dying in 1815. It is not clear where gravestone is located, but given it appears to relate to Mary Seaton it is likely it is a graveyard near or in Springholm. not far from Dumfries. [1]
