  JOHN TAYLOR was born 23 April 1915 to Annie Greenlees Breen and George Henry Taylor at 8 Phoenix Street, South Yarra, Victoria, Australia during the 1st World War. He was raised by his maternal grandparents. He regarded them as his foster parents and his first marriage to Madge Warren stated his grandparents [AMELIA SARAH & GEORGE BREEN] as foster parents. On the birth certificates of his children he is the name [JOHN HENRY BREEN] he married under. He changed his name via deed poll in 16 JUN 1951 as he needed proof of name change for a public servant job as the rules regarding names had become more precise. He remained loyal to his grand parents still regarding them as his foster parents. When he remarried his wife after a divorce his grandparents had passed away so he included his natural parents [ANNIE & GEORGE TAYLOR] on his 2nd Marriage certificate.
