Notes - His wife died when she was only about 38 and leaving him with 2 young children. The oldest, Emily, died 5 months after her mother's deathfromconsumption at age 13 and then the son, Archibald, died 8 years later from phthisis, at age 16. Henrietta, another daughter had died 4 yearsbefore.
