James Staniforth Bridge passed away peacefully on August 23, 2015 at the age of 93 years. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Bridge; sons David (Donna) and Barry (Patti), Daryl (Diane) and Robert (Karen); his ten grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; stepdaughter Margaret and stepson Allen. Preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Nancy; his sister, Betty Earnshaw and his brother, Peter Bridge. Jim, late of Chilliwack, formerly lived in White Rock, Surrey and Victoria. He was a veteran who served with the Canadian Navy during World War II. Special thanks to the staff at Valleyhaven Care Home for their care and support of Jim in the last few years. A memorial service to be held at 2pm, Friday, September 18th, 2015 at City Life Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

James Staniforth Bridge passed away peacefully on August 23rd, 2015 at the age of 93 years. He is survived by his wife Ellen Bridge, sons David (Donna), Barry (Patti), Daryl (Diane) and Robert (Karen), by his ten grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his stepdaughter Margaret and stepson Allen. James was predeceased by his wife Nancy of 57 years, his sister Betty Earnshaw and his brother Peter Bridge.
Jim, late of Chilliwack, formerly lived in White Rock, Surrey and Victoria. He was a veteran who served with the Canadian Navy during World War II.
