    • William was the executor of his father's will of 1839:
      5th - I give unto my son William Pethick all that messuage and tenement called Hele Mills together with the gardens, orchards, fields andeveryappurtenance thereunto belonging, to hold the same during the term of the lease on the said premises, situate in the parish of Stratton andCountyof Cornwall.
      Lastly, all the rest of my property of what kind or quality soever, I give and bequeath unto my said son William Pethick, whom I make and ordainmywhole and sole Executor of this my last will and testament.
