Notes - He is mentioned in Victorian Government Gazette 17 June 1914 p. 2615 and in the Warrnambool Standard Almanac of 1929, as a Poundkeeper at Allansford.
Lindsay was a returned soldier from World War I. He was a Lieuteneant in the 13th Light Horse, having enlisted on 21st January 1915.
Lindsay was a farmer at Derrinallum and owned Mt Elephant. The property was sold in 1962.
