Note: Died on active service in World War II: Wireless Gunner of a supply Halifax, JP281 of 148 Squadron, Bari, shot down or crashed due to the wings icing up on Mount Kamesnica, Yugoslavia on 26th January 1945. The target was Icarus, Minimus, North Yugoslavia.
- Burial
Note: Bodies were not recovered until after the thaw, were buried by peasants and about 1948 were recovered and reburied at Belgrade in Plot 4, Row E, collective graves 4-8.
- Occupation: Radio Announcer at 2UW, 2GB and 2UE, also probably Newcastle and 3HA Hamilton, Victoria.
- Military Service: Flying Officer 432241, R.A.A.F.; enlisted 5 December 1942; KIA abt 26 January 1945.
