Notes - John's father in law Nathaniel Harefoot's will of 1748 leaves to:
Grandson John Ham my estate in Launcells called Buttsbeer, except the two cow meadows, after the death of my wife.
Granddaughter Prudence Ham the fields called Butsbeer Parks and the two meadows part of Buttsbeer, as above after the death of my wife.
Daughter Mary Short ten pounds.
Grandson James Short ten pounds.
*Son in law John Short five pounds.
John's mother-in-law Catherine Harefoot's will of 18 August 1752:
Daughter Mary Short three pounds and one pewter dish.
