To hold the aforesaid dwelling houses and gardens two fields and thatched house with their appurtenances from and immediately after the death of my said wife unto him my said son ROBERT WILLIAMS for and during his life. And I do hereby will and direct that the garden belonging to the house now in my occupation shall extend as far north as the road by the riverand that a hedge shall be built by my said son ROBERT his executors or administrators as soon as conveniently may be after my decease from the old hedge straight in a northerly direction to divide the said last mentioned garden so as the northern part thereof shall be of the same breadth as the southern part thereof and I will it shall be included in the before mentioned devise or bequest to my said son ROBERT during his life. Upon trust nevertheless to pay and divide the rents thereof toand equally amongst my three grand-children LOUISA, RICHARD and LAVINIA BETSEY, the children of my late dear daughter BETSEY VEALE, deceased, and tothe survivors, and survivor, of them, and I also give and bequeath unto the said WILLIAM TYACK on the death of my said wife the sum of one hundredand fifty pounds. Upon trust to invest the same in Government or some other good security or securities at interest and from time to time to pay andapply the interest or dividends thereof in and towards the maintenance and education of my said three grand-children LOUISA, RICHARD and LAVINIABETSEY until they shall severally and respectively attain the age of twenty one years, and in case any one or more of them shall die beforeattaining unto such age then in trust as aforesaid for the maintenance and education of the survivors, and on my said three grand-children attainingthe age of twenty one years, then upon this further trust to pay over the said sum of one hundred and fifty pounds to and equal amongst them or thesurvivors of them, or the whole thereof to such survivor of them. But in case all of them my said grand-children LOUISA, RICHARD and LAVINIA BETSEY,shall depart this life before attaining and completing the age of twenty one years, then upon further trust to pay over the said sum of one hundredand fifty pounds to my said son ROBERT and my said three daughters GRACE, CATHERINE and MARY the wife of the said WILLIAM TYACK in equal shares andproportions or to such survivors or to the survivor of them who shall be living at the time of the death of all my said grand-children LOUISA,RICHARD and LAVINIA BETSEY, before mentioned.
    I also give and bequeath all every and singular my household furniture, plate, linen, books and implements, whatsoever (except the corner glasscupboard, safe and fire-grates and oven and the portrait of my son SAMUEL WILLIAMS deceased, before bequeathed) together with all the rest andresidue of my real and personal estate whatsoever to my four children, the before named ROBERT WILLIAMS, GRACE GOODMAN, CATHERINE WILLIAMS and MARYTYACK share and share alike as tenants in common, and I give all my wearing apparel and cloathes [sic] to my said son ROBERT.
    I give and bequeath unto my grand-son WILLIAM TYACK the younger my silver watch, provided he shall return to England, but if he should die abroad orbe reasonably supposed to die abroad then my will is and I do hereby give and bequeath the same silver watch with its appendages to my grand-sonJOHN TYACK, the division and delivery of all the before mentioned bequests to take place and be made immediately after my said wife's decease.
    And I do hereby direct and order that my said son ROBERT shall pay towards the conventionary rent for the premises hereinbefore bequeathed to himsituate at Plain-an-Gwarry aforesaid the yearly sum of three pounds a year during his interest therein and for the premises hereinbefore bequeathedto him situate in Saint Hilary the yearly sum of ten shillings and six pences towards the conventionary rent thereof during his interest therein,and that of my three grand-children the before named LOUISA, RICHARD and LAVINIA BETSEY VEALE, shall pay in respect of the premises I havebequeathed to them in Saint Hilary five shillings and six pence per year during their interest therein.
    And my daughter GRACE GOODMAN shall pay for her premises at Plain-an-Gwarry aforesaid the yearly sum of eleven shillings and six pence during herinterest therein.
    And my daughter CATHERINE WILLIAMS shall pay for her premises at Plain-an-Gwarry and Wheal Gilbert the yearly sum of one pound nine shillings andsixpence during her interest therein.
    I also give and bequeath unto my sister SARAH GOLDSWORTHY the sum of eighteen pence weekly during her life. And I do hereby nominate constitute andappoint the before named WILLIAM TYACK executor of this my last will and testament.
