    Margaret S. Costello "Peggy," long time Barrington, NJ resident, passed on August 9, 2017, at the age of 90.
    Peggy was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Isobel Christie; a sister, Norma Cassey; and, her loving husband, of over 62 years, Thomas E. Costello. She is survived by her children: Denise (Jack) Maher, Thomas S. Costello and Robert D. (Beck) Costello; her grandchildren: Christie Chandler and Muriel Maher; her great grandchildren: Elise and R.J. Chandler. Also surviving is her sister, Eleanor (Ed) Vekony and numerous nieces and nephews.
    Peggy loved to garden, read and travel. She loved the sound of waves crashing on the beach or the sound sitting by a babbling brook. She thought her children and grandchildren were so talented and her great grandchildren were geniuses. She encouraged all of us to be whatever we wanted. Peg was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield for many years.
    Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation, Tuesday from 9 to 10:30 AM, followed by her Memorial Service at 10:30 AM at TERRANOVA FUNERAL HOME, 402 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights. Entombment will follow at Locustwood Memorial Park.

    ANDREW R. CHRISTIE, 90, of Voorhees, formerly of Collingswood, died Wednesday at West Jersey Hospital-Voorhees. Mr. Christie was a native of Scotland, where he was a professional soccer player. He later played pro soccer in New York City. He was a shipbuilder in Scotland and at the New York Shipyard in Camden. He also was a carpenter at Temple University and for the International Resistor Corp. in Philadelphia. Mr. Christie was a master mason and a member of Audubon Parkside Masonic Lodge 218. He was the widower of Isobel E. Christie. Survivors: three daughters, Norma D. Cassey of Ridley Park, Pa., Margaret S. Costello and Eleanor M. Vekony, both of Haddonfield; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mary Patrick of Phoenix.
